iPhone upload Part 3

So, Ty has lots of pics on his phone as well. Thought it would be good to include some on the blog.
This is an old one, but here is Ty and his first deer. His boss took them hunting last year. I think the head is now hanging in his office.

Quite the transportation set up

When we were in Germany, we attended an Anglican church. They really included the children in the worship. Here are Colt and Levi showing off something.

The fire station close to our house had a kids weekend with bouncy houses, hot dogs and a live demonstration of a rescue using the jaws of life. Super interesting to watch.

Here we are at the Run for the Water. This is my favorite race in Austin! I was volunteering this year since I'm pregnant, but the kids came to run the Kids K in their Halloween costumes.

Cousins Grant and Stephen came to visit. Fun times at the park!

And, Cousin Eliza spent the night with us while Chez and Cody were on their huddle retreat. Tatum looks like she was focused on getting Eliza to Bible class on time the next morning!

Here are the boys with Ryan toward the end of his run!

Thanksgiving in Marble Falls! The Texans game was all the rage this year.

Our life. My favorite 4 people!

Fishing fun

This picture was from tonight. We are in the waiting area of Levi's favorite restaurant, Tres Amigos. Levi was dressed as a spy, in his favorite Wreck It Ralph shirt. Colt brought along several paintings he made (with paints sent from grandma yesterday). He kept waiting for people to walk by so they would see his pictures. He wanted to sell them, but was too shy to tell people that, so he ended up giving them away to random people. In the car, he kept holding them up to the window so all the cars driving by could also see :) Ah, a fun night in the Dishman family.

These pics are super old, but were on Ty's phone, and are super cute! Colt is such a baby in these! Hard to believe he'll be 6 this summer.

My favorite.

Well, that's all the pictures for now. It's pretty good recap of our last several months. Maybe I'll get back in the habit before the baby arrives in April!

iPhone upload Part 2

While in Marble Falls escaping the pain fumes, we hit up the Marble Falls Trail of Lights. It was a really small trail of lights, compared to the Austin one which we did a week later, so I'm really glad we did this one first or the the kids may have been really disappointed!

Clowing

We went to the Austin Trail of Lights with several friends from our care group. Here's Levi, Jonah and Piper on the bus over.

Colt has always had a fascination with school buses and was beyond excited to finally get to ride on a school bus (this is how they bused us to the Trail).

Levi and I at the entrance.

Ty and I enjoying the lights!

Our gingerbread house

Wiggin out

Saw this sign in a bathroom stall. It's the only place we buy eggs from. I just love Austin and that so many restaurants take the extra time to provide quality food to their patrons!

The kids have been watching Peppa the Pig alot. She loves to jump in muddy puddles. When it finally rained around here, they begged to go out and play in the puddles too. I think it was like 35 degrees outside this day, but that didn't stop them!

We went to a birthday party at Little Buckaroo Ranch. The kids loved riding the pony!

Here I am at 26 weeks pregnant!

We went to see the Harlem Globetrotters. I have such great memories of this from my own childhood and wanted my kids to experience it too. They've never really seen a basketball game before, and I think this was a great introduction because of all the comedy sketches they do in between the "game."

The kids set up a "picnic" in the backyard with all their pretend food. Thought it was cute, although I did find plastic food in the yard for a week or two after :) Levi, by the way, is in love with this red coat he's wearing. He wears it even when its 70 degrees outside. Good news is... the coat is size 5T, so he'll be able to wear it next winter too!

iPhone upload! Part 1

Wow! I definitely didn't realize it's been almost 3 months since my last post!! Shame on me :) I've been busy taking lots of pictures of other people's families (check some out at my new website... www.charisdishmanphotography.com). Still a work in progress, just fyi. Anyway, you'll have to settle for iphone pics of my own family....
Tatum in October. She was learning to dress herself... in all shirts.
My sister got married in October!! I guess I should get some pictures on the blog of that event, but I don't have any currently. Anyway, we are thrilled for her. She couldn't have picked a better man. Emmitt is a loving, spiritual leader for their family and I'm so excited that my little sister gets to walk through life with him! Alethea asked my kids to be her ring bearers and flower girl. Here are Tatum and Levi before the ceremony.
The day after the wedding in Galveston, we all headed to the beach! Fun times with the family!

We ate at Firebowl with Bang Bang and Nana. 4 grandkids and 2 more on the way!! (Chez is due next month!)

The kids have been asking to go on a hike, so since the weather was much "cooler" in October, we finally made the trek. They loved it!

We painted pumpkins for Halloween.

Tatum has a thing for playing with water. Water from the fridge dispenser, the sink, the hose outside, etc.

Cowboy Colt

Dinner with Eliza! We love having her over to play!

Tatum's first pony tail... she was sick and I had to put her hair back so it didn't get dirty when she threw up. :(

Again, a sick Tatum. She had a fever in this pic.

Here's our friend, Ryan. He ran for 48 hours on a treadmill to raise funds to bring home his 2 children who he and his wife are adopting from Ethiopia, plus 46 other kids (a total of 48 kids/48 hours).

Levi continues to love dressing up on a daily basis.

This is Colt's preferred hairstyle. He wants it ALL spiked, not just the middle for a faux-hawk which is way more popular.

We had some painting done at the house and the fumes were so bad, we took a retreat to Marble Falls to escape. The kids enjoyed fishing!

We attended the Blue Santa parade downtown. The kids loved it, especially getting to donate a toy to kids who have little by loading them in big trucks that stop in the procession, and they loved getting to see their friend Jonah in the parade with his dad.

More to come...
