Happy Easter!
Philippians 3:10-12 - I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
This past week my dad and Jennifer visited. We had a blast and Colt loved seeing his grandparents.

Getting to Know You
I'm trying to read through the Bible with Colt in his 1st year. We've finished the New Testament and are now on Deuteronomy, about to start Joshua. Guess I better hurry up as he turns 1 in July!
I don't like scary movies. Give me comedy, romance or drama and I'll gladly watch.
I've really been into cooking lately. Whenever I ask Ty what his favorite meal is, he says, "I don't know, you never make the same thing twice." If you know any good recipes, send them my way!
I love Hob Nobs. They are British cookies that they sell in the international section at the grocery store. When I lived in England I used to eat them all the time!
I love Cadbury eggs. My sophmore year of college I spent a semester in England. I actually got to tour the Cadbury factory and then proceeded to buy 75 Cadbury eggs in the gift shop (they came in bags of 25). Needless to say, I got burned out on Cadbury eggs by the time the semester was over. However, Ty bought me an egg the other day and I must say I loved it with a renewed passion :)

Colt has also welcomed the presence of his first 2 teeth! They are right on the bottom center. You can kinda see his teeth in the next pic:
Since he's been teething, he is putting everything in his mouth. Including sucking on door hinges and the hardware of the entertainment center...
Since Colt has become a speedster at crawling, he makes a bee-line for Molly's water bowl and enjoys playing in it. Molly doesn't seem to mind as Colt is the one who pays the most attention to her. Since Colt has started crawling, he is starting to thin out. When I took him to the doctor, he weighed 20lbs 3oz at 8 months.
Lastly, Colt received his first haircut today. I did it myself - yikes! If I do say so myself, it turned out pretty well for giving my first haircut ever. Especially to a squirmy baby! This is a before picture. I just trimmed the hair over his ears since he was looking really shaggy.
That's all for this week!
