I nursed Elijah for...oh charis, this is a hard one. I nursed Elijah for 13 months. At the beginning, it was so hard going every 2 hours. I didn't think I'd make it to the 3 month mark! But I grew to treasure those times. When I weaned Elijah, I was really sad for a while. It was probably one of the first milestones where I truly began to understand parenting and my role in his life. I spent some time journaling about it that night - I'd really love to email that entry to you if you don't mind giving me your email address. It was meaningful for me to spend some time reflecting during that transition, and maybe it would be meaningful to you, too.<BR/><BR/>Since that time, I have experienced many of those milestones that shows they are growing up and getting more independent, and I am slowly learning to celebrate rather than dread them. every day, our children are becoming more the person God wants them to be!
